Do I qualify for education tax credit If I received Pell grant?
ByFor school year 2009-2010 I received a Pell grant for $5350, it was $2675 per semester. For fall and spring. I’m a full time student. My parents claim me as a dependent, I need to know If there is any kind of Education Tax credit I am eligible for, when filing taxes?
Help would be appreciated.

Nope, you have to have paid for your schooling with your own money. Having someone else pay for it, like the pell grant won’t work.
